This page is a documentation index, not a replacement for Lago’s legal agreements. The controlling Lago Privacy Policy explains how Get Lago Corp. handles personal data, the purposes and legal bases for processing, data retention, international transfers, security measures, and individual rights. If this summary conflicts with the policy or an executed customer agreement, the controlling document applies.

Privacy contact

Questions about personal data or requests to exercise privacy rights should be sent to Lago’s data-protection contact at dpo@getlago.com. Include enough information to identify the relevant relationship or account, but do not send passwords, API keys, payment card data, or unnecessary sensitive information by email.

Deployment choices

Lago can be consumed as a managed cloud service or deployed in infrastructure controlled by the customer. Deployment choice affects which organization operates the application environment and where billing data is stored. Review the self-hosted overview and your commercial agreement before deciding which model meets your legal, security, residency, and operational requirements.

Data minimization for integrations

Send only the fields required for metering and billing. Use stable external identifiers instead of secrets, avoid placing personal data in free-form metadata when it is not needed, restrict API keys to server-side systems, and redact sensitive fields from logs and support requests. Follow the API authentication guidance and rotate any credential that may have been exposed.
