Can Lago work with Mercado Pago?
Lago can be paired with Mercado Pago through a custom integration. Lago does not list a native Mercado Pago connector: your team or an implementation partner must build and validate the bridge using Lago webhooks and the provider API.
Lago remains the billing system. Mercado Pago remains the payment system. This page describes an evaluation path, not a certification or commercial affiliation with Mercado Pago.
Verify before launch
- Create a test customer and subscription in Lago, then trace an invoice to the payment attempt in Mercado Pago.
- Confirm how a customer adds or changes a payment method, and how success, failure and retries return to Lago.
- Test partial payments, refunds, disputes and reconciliation against the same invoice IDs.
- Check regional payment methods, security requirements, ownership of support and the total integration work.
