Can Lago work with PayPal?
Lago can be paired with PayPal through a custom integration. Lago does not list a native PayPal connector: your team or an implementation partner must build and validate the bridge using Lago webhooks and the provider API.
Lago remains the billing system. PayPal remains the payment system. This page describes an evaluation path, not a certification or commercial affiliation with PayPal.
Verify before launch
- Create a test customer and subscription in Lago, then trace an invoice to the payment attempt in PayPal.
- Confirm how a customer adds or changes a payment method, and how success, failure and retries return to Lago.
- Test partial payments, refunds, disputes and reconciliation against the same invoice IDs.
- Check regional payment methods, security requirements, ownership of support and the total integration work.
