Entitlements
Entitlements define what a customer can access and how much they can use, based on their subscription or contract.
Also called feature gating, allowances and quotas.
They cover feature gates, which switch a capability on or off; privileges, which set the level of access within a feature; allowances, which are the usage included in a plan; and quotas, which cap usage or trigger overage.
Entitlements and billing are the same question asked twice. Keeping them in separate systems is how customers end up paying for something they cannot reach, or reaching something they are not paying for.
